Heat treatment-drying

Heat treatment:
In Hungary, we were among the first to acquire the equipment and licences for the heat treatment of pallets, which enables the professional and professional heat treatment of pallets and wood.

However, it is important to clarify that there is an important difference between the heat treatment and the drying process. The heat treatment of pallets is carried out according to the FAO IPPC/ ISPM 15 standard. The essence of this process is to keep the inner stock of the wood at a temperature of at least 56°C for at least 30 minutes in order to keep it free from viruses, fungi and insects.

Drying:
Our drying chambers In order to meet all required standards, our pallets are heat treated. This process is carried out in our modern and state-of-the-art drying kilns, which dry pallets, pallet boards or other wood products for the required time and at the required temperature. We are proud of the fact that the volume of products ordered and delivered is constantly increasing, and we currently have 4 state-of-the-art drying kilns in operation. This means that we can dry up to 15,000 pallets per week. In addition to the heat treatment of pallets and pallet boards, we can of course also heat treat and dry other wood products that require this process.

What is the purpose of drying?
a. Fungus treatment

The drying process enables us to make the pallet completely fungus-free.
b. Moisture removal

This process is used to remove moisture from the pallet to prevent the product stored on the pallet from losing its value due to possible dampness.
c. Structural reinforcement

The quality of the pallets that have undergone the drying process is significantly improved, as they become structurally much stronger and more durable.
